FORM kids instead of EDUCATING them.
Parents form humans like farmers grow grapes:
Focus on the conditions around the seed.
80% of the effort comes in the early years.
Prune early and often.
Stake and train the vine as it grows. (At least initially, the farmer's vision is the path it should take... so parents, consider the path carefully.)
Monitor for weeds and pests - especially those named Zuckerberg, those processed with corn syrup, and anything touched by Disney.
Once established, the plant grows in the way it was trained, and the work is fairly minimal.
Enjoy the fruit for generations.
Sounds easy, doesn't it? It's not.
That's why parents need to return to the center of our public policy.
Without engaged parents, the vine will not produce good fruit.
